Phase V of Scar Protocol is the retinol cream. This final phase of our incision scar system helps provide the optimal environment for the last stage of healing in the first year. It wraps up the Scar Protocol system.
One tube of natural cleanser
Five jars of natural creams
Instructional insert card
As the final stage of Scar Protocol, Phase V places the last touches on your incision scar. Phase V includes retinol which is another name for vitamin A. While the scar may look healed by Phase V, it is still healing under the surface. When you finish Scar Protocol and Phase V, you may notice a difference in the appearance of the scar.
When you reach Phase V, you will be 10 months into the 12 month regimen. You will continue Phase V for the final two months. If you have never used retinol before (or never in the area you are applying it), you may notice some mild side effects of the retinol at first, though they should go away. Our unique formula treats all skin types safely. The application of Phase V follows the same instructions as the previous phase scar creams. You may notice some light peeling or redness, but this should subside as your skin adjusts to the retinol.
With ingredients including retinol, helianthus, and jojoba, Phase V ends Scar Protocol by helping to optimize the healing environment. Suited for surgical incisions, Scar Protocol may help make a difference in the cosmetic look of scars.
